The Post-Harvest Technology Undergraduate Program is an interdisciplinary program to produce professional post-harvest engineers who are able to answer the challenges of the current problem in the downstream agro-silvo-fishery bioindustry. Hence, the educational objectives of the Post-Harvest Technology Undergraduate Program are formulated to produce graduates who:

  1. master integrated and applied science and engineering systems in agriculture, forestry and fisheries;
  2. able to develop sustainable procedures to extend the shelf-life (shelf life and life) of bioproducts based on understanding science and engineering;
  3. able to maintain and make added value in quality (use / nutrition, appearance, and ergonomics (shape and taste) and quantity of products;
  4. master information technology to understand market distribution and networks;5.    has the ability to design an integrated post-harvest handling system.
